CHALET A LA CASA (sleeping 8) is situated in the exclusive new chalet area of Zermatt called "Le Petit Village" located on a sunny north-eastern hillside facing the Matterhorn at the entrance to Zermatt. Easy direct access is by 2 private lifts from the river road at the entrance to Zermatt. Direct taxi access from Täsch for guests travelling by car.
The village centre and Sunnegga Lift are about 10 minutes walk.
It is possible to ski-in from Sunnegga (snow conditions permitting)
In summer the hill walk to the village takes about 20 minutes
CHALET A LA CASA and APARTMENT A LA CASA are right next to each other.
Each can be booked separately or combined for small groups up to 14 persons. (Chalet: 8 Beds + Apartment: 6 Beds = Total 14 Beds)
The chalet (220m2) itself provides accommodation on 2 floors with a total of 4 twin bedrooms (all with safes) , 3 bathrooms/WC (2 ensuite), huge living/dining room with wood-burning fireplace, fully-equipped open-plan kitchen with very large dining table and south-facing balcony with majestic Matterhorn views. An outdoor Jacuzzi and bathroom/WC is ensuite with the one upstairs bedroom. (The other 3 bedrooms are downstairs)
Cable TV with all international programes, telephone, radio/CD player, DVD player and free Wifi Internet access.
Ski room for skis outside and boot room with boot-warmers in the chalet.
The original chalet décor with its exposed wooden beams combine with metal and glass furnishings to create a unique combination of the traditional and modern.
